Colonies (Player-Created District Goals)

The Colony Tier System

Every Colony evolves through six major stages, tied to the market cap growth of its coin. Each stage changes the world visually and economically, turning abstract numbers into lasting structures.

Tier 1 — The Outpost (~$1M MC)

  • A small foothold appears on the map, representing the very beginning of a community’s presence.

  • Structures are minimal — tents, watchtowers, and basic trading posts.

  • Economy: symbolic only, proof of existence.

Tier 2 — The Settlement (~$10M MC)

  • The Outpost grows into a Settlement with clustered homes, shops, and a central square.

  • The district starts to look alive, with pathways and small markets forming.

  • Economy: light marketplace activity begins as land near the Settlement rises in value.

Tier 3 — The Dominion (~$50M MC)

  • The Settlement expands into a Dominion, with fortified walls, industries, and organized commerce.

  • The Colony is now recognized as a power hub on the map.

  • Economy: material flow accelerates, land near the Dominion becomes more expensive, and player trades are drawn toward the area.

Tier 4 — The Citadel (~$100M MC)

  • The Dominion transforms into a Citadel, marked by massive towers, strongholds, and cultural halls.

  • The Colony commands recognition as one of the anchors of Landora’s skyline.

  • Economy: trade routes spread outward, prices for plots in the area surge, and player attention concentrates around the Citadel.

Tier 5 — The Metropolis (~$500M MC)

  • The Citadel evolves into a Metropolis, with a dense skyline, thriving industry, and bustling districts.

  • This stage makes the Colony one of the major cities of Landora, visible to all players.

  • Economy: Metropolises create ripple effects — player-owned land in the surrounding regions becomes premium, with speculation and secondary markets booming.

Tier 6 — The Eternal Monument (~$1B MC)

  • The Colony achieves its final form, the Eternal Monument.

  • A sprawling megacity with unique architecture and permanent cultural markers.

  • Economy: At this stage, the Colony is immortalized. Its surrounding land becomes legendary real estate, and the Colony itself is a historical milestone in Landora.

The Deep Economy of Colonies

1. Market-Driven Progression

  • Colonies do not grow randomly. They expand based on the market cap of the community coin.

  • This ties on-chain economics directly to in-game evolution.

  • Every holder knows their activity is building toward something visible and permanent.

2. Land Value and Proximity Premium

  • Land near Colonies increases in price as they grow, either through organic demand or player listings.

  • The closer your land is to a Colony, the more valuable it becomes at each tier.

  • This creates natural economic hotspots in Landora.

3. Shared District Goals

  • Each milestone becomes a collective achievement.

  • Holders and communities rally to “push the Colony” to the next stage, fueling both market growth and player engagement.

4. Player Incentives

  • Traders profit from rising land values.

  • Builders gain prestige by developing inside or around Colonies.

  • Communities gain recognition as their Colony reaches new tiers.

5. The Flywheel Connection

  • All Colony-driven activity — land sales, trades, marketplace fees — routes back into $LND.

  • This makes Colonies not just cultural symbols, but engines that fuel the broader Landora economy.
